PAUL POGBA TO MAKE BARCELONA SWITCH
Man Utd make decision on Barcelona
transfer: Two stars included in Paul Pogba swap deal.
BARCELONA
have reportedly had a massive Paul Pogba bid rejected by Manchester United -
which included two players in a swap deal. The France star has had a tough
second season at Old Trafford after his performances were highly scrutinised.
It has led
to the £89m man being dropped for some important games - including a Champions
League tie against Sevilla.
Scott
McTominay has been the preferred option at times, who is seen as a much more
defensive-minded player.
Pogba and
Jose Mourinho have not always seen eye to eye, with reports earlier this year
that the pair had suffered a major fallout.
And as the
coldness of that relationship came more and more to fruition, it opened up
stories of the former Juventus ace looking for another club. Several clubs have
been linked with a move, including Barcelona, Real Madrid and former side Juve.
However,
Barca are serious on securing his services and another bid is expected.
Although the
English transfer window shuts on Thursday, the Catalan club have until the end
of the month to sign players.
Mina has
been on United's list of potential centre-backs they want to sign, which also
includes Jerome Boateng, Harry Maguire and Toby Alderweireld.
