POGBA CAUSES A MAJOR STIR

Paul Pogba causes a major stir at Man Utd's training ground.

Paul Pogba has just over 24 hours to seal a supposed dream move to Barcelona.

According to various reports, the Frenchman wants to leave Manchester United and has told his teammates as much. He's also texted Ed Woodward informing him of his desire to go.

Barca have already seen a player-plus-cash deal involving Andre Gomes, Yerry Mina and €50m rejected by United, who are currently refusing to sell.

Quite how Pogba plans to wriggle free from United's grasp remains to be seen, but it's becoming increasingly clear exactly why he wants to leave.

One big factor is playing alongside Lionel Messi and former Juventus teammate Arturo Vidal, who joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich last week for £27m.

Another is Pogba's relationship with Mourinho, whose comments about the France international after the World Cup were not well received.

"I don't think it’s about us getting the best out of him (Pogba)," Mourinho said in July. "It' about him giving the best he has to give.

WILL HE STAY OR WILL HE GO?

"I think the World Cup is the perfect habitat for a player like him to give the best. Why? Because it's closed for a month, where he can only think about football.

"During a season, you can have a big match then a smaller match, then one even smaller, then you can lose your focus, you can lose your concentration, then comes a big match again."
Mourinho's comments reportedly upset Pogba and have played a damaging role in him wanting to leave United.

It's hardly a surprise that the 25-year-old has had enough after two years under Mourinho and now the transfer saga has taken a bizarre turn.

United's players all turned up for training in their cars today but according to the Daily Mail, Pogba made his way into Carrington using a separate entrance and while being driven by a chauffeur.

Pogba was sat in the back of the Mercedes (see below) and hiding behind a jacket in an apparent attempt to go unnoticed.
